Replay does the rest.

From the moment a call starts to the notes you read after, everything happens on your Mac.

No bot in the call.

Replay records from your Mac, so nobody new joins and there’s no “notetaker” for anyone to let in.

Meeting bots join your call.
Replay doesn’t need to.

Most notetakers send a bot into the meeting and your conversation to someone else’s servers. Replay records right on your Mac, so your calls stay yours.

Calls that don’t
fill up your Mac.

An hour-long call takes about 400 MB. As calls get older, Replay can keep a smaller copy, then just the sound and the transcript. The ones you choose stay exactly as recorded.

Your meetings,
in your AI assistant.

Replay connects to Claude and other assistants through MCP, so you can ask about your calls in the chat you already use. They can read your meetings, never change them.

Where do my recordings go?

Nowhere but your Mac. Recording, transcripts, summaries, search and answers all happen there. There's no Replay account and no Replay server, so there's nothing to sign up for and nowhere for your calls to go. They're ordinary files in your Movies folder.

What is Replay?

A Mac app that records your Google Meet, Zoom and Teams calls — the video, your voice and theirs — and then writes a transcript, a summary, decisions, action items and chapters. Everything happens on your Mac.

Does a bot join my call?

No. Replay records the call from your Mac, the way a screen recording does. Nobody sees an extra guest, and there's nothing to let in from the waiting room.

Is anything uploaded?

No. Nothing you record is sent anywhere: the transcript and the summary are both written on your Mac. The only download is the speech model for your language, which your Mac fetches once, the first time. If you connect an AI assistant like Claude, the parts of a meeting it reads go to that assistant — that's your choice.

Which calls can it record?

Google Meet in your browser, and the Zoom and Microsoft Teams apps. Replay only records the call itself, never your whole screen, so nothing else you have open ends up in the video.

What do I need?

A Mac with Apple silicon and macOS 26 or later. Summaries and asking questions need Apple Intelligence turned on.

Can it tell who's speaking?

Your voice and theirs are recorded separately, so every line is marked Me or Them. Name the speakers with a click (people from the calendar invite are suggested), and move a line to someone else to split a group call.

Should I tell people I'm recording?

Yes. Many places require everyone's consent to record a call, and Replay doesn't announce itself, so say so at the start.

How much space does it take?

About 400 MB for an hour-long call. The transcript and notes take almost nothing next to that. You can have older calls made smaller, or kept as sound only, so they take less over time.
